Chess Academy
Our chess program offers Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, helping students develop critical thinking, strategic skills, and competitive confidence.
Beginner Level
Rating 0-600
Intermediate Level
Rating 600-1200
Students with very little chess experience.
Students who know how to checkmate but struggle with strategy.
Knows how the pieces move but struggles with finding strategies for checkmates.
Can play a full game but often blunders.
Has little or no tournament experience or
online practice.
Knows basic tactics but doesn't consistently use them.
Has a desire to develop their chess skills.
Has played casual or online games and possibly
a tournament.
Advanced Level
Rating 1200-1800+
Students who consistently play and study chess.
Understands basic strategy but needs refinement.
Has tournament experience or serious
online practice.
Can calculate several moves ahead but
still misses deep tactics.
These ratings are based on FIDE (International Chess Federation) and online platforms like Chess.com or Lichess.org
